Thank you for all who attended todays meeting.  We had a great crowd and a fantastic lunch.  I always look forward to my Mondays.

Lunch:  Coffee, tossed salad, roast beef sliders, clam roll sliders, turkey club sandwiches, mixed salad and cheesecake for desert.

NEWEST Rotary Member Invocation:  Today we had the opportunity to learn more about our newest member, Jen Breaker.  Jen is the Assistant Town Manager and Communications Director for Danvers.  She has been working for our Town for 6 months and has been enjoying her new role.  Previously Jen was employed by the Town of Ipswich as the HR Director and Asst. to the Town Manager.  Jen has grown up in Ipswich and has been involved with the YMCA and community events.  On a personal note, Jen and her family love the beach and being around water.  Most of her family live in Ipswich.  Jen was a business management major in college.  She lives with her boyfriend and dog.  Her favorite part of her job is helping the Town Staff succeed which in return will make Danvers a better place to live, work and be enjoy life.  Jennifer will be an asset to our Rotary Club.  We are very lucky to have representation from Town Hall. Welcome to our club Jen!!

Announcements:
  •          Unsung Hero’s Breakfast – President Jacki updated us on this event.  35 Recipients were recognized and over 275 Rotarians were in attendance.  It was a nice event with    some great Rotary stories and moments. 
  •          President Jacki – looking for service project ideas for the year. Neil suggested bringing back the Mayor of Danvers fundraiser
  •          Danvers YMCA – The Y is hosting a social night on December 5th at Danversport Yacht Club.  For those interested in attending, please let John S. know.  5-7:30 PM tickets are only $30 and includes appetizers and cash bar w/ signature drinks.  First 50 to register receive 1 free drink ticket.  For more info www.DanversYMCA.org Will be a fun social night and a great opportunity for Rotarians to promote Rotary and recruit potential members.
  •          Coat Drive -  Shelly announced that the coat drive is going well.  Most of the coats have been delivered to the Salvation Army. 
  •          Polar Plunge – If you are interested in representing Rotary at the upcoming plunge – please see President Jacki.  So far we have Jacki, Marybeth and Johnny signed up to take the plunge.  The club would like to support or plungers
  •          Raffles Drawing – Annalie Spirois has volunteered her home to host the drawing for the Raffle.  Food and refreshments will be provided.  Located at 16 Delaware Ave in Danvers.  6:00PM to 8:30ish PM.  Drawing will be at 8:00PM
  •          Raffle - 2 tickets to the Bruins, Night at the Bostonian and Dinner at Al Dente.  Only 500 tickets to be sold.  Value is $900.  Drawing will be held on December 13th Tickets were distributed at the meeting. Each member should sell 12 or more tickets to make this event a BIG success.  Thank you to Dan for donating the tickets.
